Orlando Bloom stood up for British butterflies


       Actor Orlando Bloom attends a campaign designed to draw public attention to the threat to rare species of butterflies UK, according to the website Contactmusic.

       The actor has sponsored the publication of the book "Crystal, the Small Miracle", telling the children about the life of insects. The author of the book is the mother of Orlando - Sophia Copeland Bloom. She devoted her work to her grandson - the son of actor Flynn seven months.

       "Butterflies - a symbol of beauty and fragility of nature," - said Bloom.

       Orlando Bloom has been gaining popularity in the early 2000s, thanks to filming episodes of "The Lord of the Rings" and "Pirates of the Caribbean."
