iPad mini

On Tuesday, October 23, Apple introduced iPad mini, a smaller version of the tablet iPad. The tablet is equipped with a 7.9-inch screen. For comparison, the screen size in the "big" iPad is 9.7 inches. The display resolution is 1024 by 768 pixels, as the iPad 2.

The thickness of the iPad mini is 7,2 mm. It is thinner than the fourth-generation iPad, which was also presented on October 23. "iPad mini" weighs 308 grams without a cell module, and the fourth-generation iPad weighs 652 grams.

The tablet is based on the dual-core processor Apple A5. It has two cameras - rear, with a resolution of five megapixels, and the front (Apple calls it FaceTime HD). Device is equipped with Lightning. The tablet can run on battery power ten hours. Certain modifications of the device can connect to the LTE network.

As is the case with the "big" iPad, Apple will release two versions of the device, with the supporting networks and without. Devices with Wi-Fi will cost $ 329, and phones with Wi-Fi and supporting networks from 459 dollars. The tablet will go on sale on November 2.
